Kris Villarreal

Kris Villarreal is a literary fiction and fantasy author living in Atlanta. She was born in 1988 outside San Francisco and raised by parents of Mexican, French, and African-American descent. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism and another in Women's Studies. With a background in editing and a love for literature, Kris pursued her dream of writing fiction early in her career. She finds comfort in crafting stories that focus on societal ills with themes of fantasy and magical realism. Kris loves anime, tea, books of all kinds, and studying languages. Her debut novel Logost was released in July 2014, and her latest novel The Changing Place will be available September 2015.
