I am not a writer by trade, I am a general contractor. I specialize in bathrooms and I have become a bathroom king. I grew up in New York, I spent 20 years of my life involved in drug addictions, and overdosed more times than I can remember. I was one of the lucky ones, I was able to turn my life around, find a wonderful wife and have two awesome kids. Religion has become a very important part of my life, and without it I could not be the person that I have become. I can tell you that my life is as close to normal as anyone can expect, considering my past, and the fact that I have two teenage boys. I love reading anything written by John Pontius, and growing up Ferdinand the Bull was my favorite book. I love photography and am presently an amateur photographer, which means I know very little about photography but I love taking pictures of landscapes. I love spending time with my family, cooking, playing tennis, camping, boating and rock collecting. Since I came close to dying many times while in my thirties, I have found a new love and appreciation for life. I love writing about my life experiences, all the hard things that happen to normal people, and how I get through them and how I grow spiritually, emotionally, and otherwise. My purpose in writing is to give people hope that they can get through the hardest situations, that they can grow from them, learn from them and be better people because of them.
