Dassia N. Posner

Dassia N. Posner is a theatre historian specializing in Soviet experimental theatre, translation, dramaturgy, and puppetry. She is a Professor of Theatre at Northwestern University. Her research reclaims theatrical innovations erased by totalitarianism, analyzes nonverbal meaning making onstage, and fuses scholarship and creative practice.
