Kristi Charish

Kristi Charish is a scientist and science fiction/fantasy writer whose published works include the critically acclaimed urban fantasy series, Kincaid Strange and The Adventures of Owl. A self-described recovering fly geneticist, she received her BSc and MSc from Simon Fraser University in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, and her PhD in Zoology from the University of British Columbia.

Her debut science fiction novel, PERSEPHONE is cowritten with Sebastien de Castell and available April 6/2027.

When Kristi isn’t writing you can find her on her laptop making medical science comprehensible for entertainment media or working on various writing projects. If you look really closely at your TV screen, you might even spot her in the background of a favourite TV show filmed in the perpetually wet city of Vancouver.
