I began writing Poetry at age thirteen, primarily for my own enjoyment. Much of my writing is from my own perspective, though not always. I believe that Poetry can and should make a statement; I especially love to make people think twice about something they may never have even thought about once. I worked for many years in Information Systems analysis and project mgmt., but retired early due to injuries sustained when hit by a drunk driver at age 18 (I'm now fifty-five). Over the years, many of my friends urged me to consider publishing my Poetry, which I've finally done. At age fifty-five, I'm an "Indie", and I'm psyched!! My writings are intentionally devoid of big words most of us cannot discern or relate to, with the possible exception of the title: "Parnassus" and "Parnassus II", which simply means "a collection of Poetry" (I tell you what it means right below the title). If you like the unusual and poignant, then you might like my style. It is intentionally thought provoking.
