I am a writer, award wining author, triple graduate and Mensan.
In my youth I was a bodybuilder with the National Amateur Bodybuilding Association. In middle age I became a competitive powerlifter, with five first place medals in the Masters 2 (50-59 age group) 93kg (bodyweight) class. I have written two books relating to these subjects.
I first put pen to paper in 1994 when my first article was published by Mensa.
Since then I have written numerous articles for magazines, newspapers and various special interest groups. In the internet age I have contributed to forums and blogs.
In 2011 my first book Quentin Crisp: The Profession of Being was published by McFarland, one of the world's leading academic publishing houses.
In 2017 I was one of the first authors to be published by Olebbooks.
