G’day! I was born in a tiny country town about 300 miles northwest of Sydney, Australia. Back in the '80s, while most were busy avoiding danger, I decided to take the plunge and became a Christian, joining a local youth group.
In 1990, I thought I’d pop over to the UK for a quick six-month tour of Europe. But God, having a bit of a laugh, had other plans. I’ve been here ever since! He blessed me with an amazing wife who can’t stand the heat, while I detest the cold and rain. Life, eh?
After a minor stroke in 2003, I felt God nudging me to stop being so stubborn and actually pay attention to Him. So, I left my job at Royal Mail, attended Moorlands College, and graduated in 2007. That same year, I founded Partakers. It all started during a placement when I recorded some audio files. To my surprise, within six months, thousands of people had downloaded them, mostly from countries where evangelical Christians face persecution. This formed the basis for my dissertation, exploring whether an internet church could be part of the 'one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church'.
Partakers, has developed into a digital and mainstream Church ministry. This involves book publishing, Church consultancy, discipleship, evangelism, podcasting, preaching and YouTube. We have also initiated Bible Discipleship schools in India, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Uganda. To that end, we regularly engage with over 140 countries per annum via Podcasts, YouTube and printed media.
I have an accountability team that provides mentoring, prayer, guidance, and advice, along with social media mates who keep me on the straight and narrow. PulpTheology, a part of Partakers, aims to produce affordable, high-quality theological literature that engages readers with both words and imagery.
I currently live with my amazing wife in Bournemouth, United Kingdom.
Cheers, and God bless!
