Susan J. Peters

Is a graduate of U.C.L.A. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D in Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University. As a Fulbright Scholar, and Associate Professor Emeritus at Michigan State University, she is one of a handful of researchers specializing in international and comparative inclusive education. Of her many publications in this field, Achieving Education for All by Including those with Disabilities and Special Education Needs has been translated into 12 languages, including Russian and Hungarian. She has traveled extensively, conducting classes and collaborating with faculty at the University of Zimbabwe and the Universidad Naçionale in Colombia. In addition to her scholarly work, Susan has held various leadership positions in disability rights organizations, acting as an independent consultant for UNESCO, the World Bank and Ministries of Education.
