Dear Readers,
If you asked me to introduce myself, I would answer that I'm a wife, mother of four, grandmother of six, and a retired nurse. I'm an associate member of the Western Writers of America and a member of the Writers League of Texas.
My home is in rural Colorado where I am surrounded by inspiring scenery and history. So far, I have written ten novels, one children's picture book, and an historic two-act play that was performed at the Fort Garland Museum Theater.
As a writer, I'm a very late bloomer. The stories I love most have unlikely heroes, compassionate heroines, and happy endings. When I write, the characters are alive in my head. I hope this is as close as I will ever come to actually having multiple personalities. I strive to write stories that my family can be proud of and to say, in a good way, "I can't believe my mom wrote that."
I've been told that my western stories have authenticity, historical grounding, a respectful tone, clean reading for all ages, and bring my medical knowledge into action. For these comments, I am grateful. I hope that you enjoy my stories and maybe at times, see yourself in my characters.
I wish you the best of everything, Pam
