Kathe Todd

A third-generation native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Kathe Todd served as Editor in Chief for underground comix pioneer Rip Off Press from 1985 until 2005. She still operates Rip Off Press with her husband, company co-founder Fred Todd, selling underground comix and collectibles online. She is the mother of Seattle tattoo artist Suzy Todd, and grandmother of Maker movement icon Super-Awesome Sylvia.

Since retiring in 2013 Kathe has written twelve novels. Currently available in Kindle format on Amazon, the Fireblood Chronicles is an x-rated, tongue-in-cheek take on the classic swords-and-sorcery genre - filled with action, adventure, romance, and explicit sex. The Fire Scion series, aimed at young adults, follows the adventures of the children of the characters from the Fireblood Chronicles. The Shadow God trilogy, set in an alternate-universe 18th century Europe where the ancient gods are real and active in the lives of their worshipers, introduces us to a plucky, half-black orphan girl who finds her life co-opted by the Shadow God Betsalel - the worship of whom was outlawed centuries before. New in 2015, the Darkshield series features a dauntless young heroine with a lust for adventure... and for the men in her life. It combines fast-moving swords-and-sorcery plotlines with x-rated romance.
