Carol Ring

Carol Ring is not an HR person who learned business. She is a business person who made culture her competitive advantage.

As a culture transformation consultant, executive coach, and keynote speaker, Carol works with mid-market CEOs who are done firefighting the same problems and ready for a diagnosis that actually goes somewhere. Her proprietary Purpose-Powered Performance Framework grew out of thirty years inside organizations, including leading a major turnaround of Rogers Communications' largest, worst-performing division, a billion-dollar business.

Carol is the author of IGNITE Your Culture and People Problems Solved, both built on the same premise: people problems are never just people problems; they are symptoms of the system people live in.

She has been named to Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women and holds the FCPA, CPA designation along with certifications through the Barrett Values Centre, Dare to Lead, and The Leadership Challenge. Her governance experience includes board and audit committee work with healthcare and professional organizations.

When she is not working with leadership teams, she can be found hosting Grandma Camp for her grandchildren or reliving her University of Guelph Athletic Hall of Fame curling days.
