Alice Y. Chen

Alice is an author/illustrator of children's picture books that are crafted with relatable, aspirational characters who are working their different ways through everyday problems and situations.

Under her maiden name Alice Y. Chen, Alice published 3 books in her Centipede Dragon A Benevolent Creature series: Centipede Dragon A Benevolent Creature, Centipede Dragon A Benevolent Creature Versus the Rascally ReptilLion, and Centipede Dragon a Benevolent Creature and the Pignapping of TuTu. She plans for more!

Under her married name (she doesn't know why she made this so hard for herself and also confusing to others) Alice Chen Kitterman, she will publish a new character in a new series, in a new language! Her goal for these books is to create a character with a common flaw to which anyone and everyone can relate, and how this character copes with it. And the different language? Well, she simply says it is a personal dream to be fluent in French, so, why not inspire kids in her journey to learn it?
