Lancelot A. Walker

I was born in the island nation of Jamaica during the British Commonwealth. I hailed from the capital Kingston but spent my formative years in Whitehall parish of Saint Ann.

I arrived to settle in the United States in 1977.

I went to high school in Flushing, New York and college at SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Stonybrook, SUNY Downstate and Long Island University Brooklyn Campus.

I am a fashion designer, writer, poet and healthcare professional.

I have been writing since I was 17 years old.

I have published the following titles:

A Chose Few for This Calling (WaterMark Press)

In My Name ( WaterMark Press)

Almost There

Awakening of The Spirit

The Fire of My Soul

Reinvention

My Time is Now

Second Chance: I am still here

Resurrection: My Journey

Poetry, fashion and travelling are my passions.

It is all my story and part of the human experience. I write from the heart so my work can resonate with all people. It is voice for those that are silent or dare to speak their truths.

One day I hope I will be recognized and known for my body of work.

It has been an interesting journey so far entering the second half of a century. The first half is unforgettable.

On this journey I have lived, loved, suffered losses and will love again. One day when the universe will align my stars I will enter the house of success.
