Helena Gibson

Helena has always had big dreams, mainly to provide a life for her daughter; to have the free time to be an active and present parent; and to be financially free.

Helena's parlay into entrepreneurship began with an auto repair shop back in 2002. She totally switched paths after she saw her mother struggling with hair loss. Helena watched her mom try to find solutions for her hair loss, and realized that many other women were struggling with the same thing. In short, Helena saw a need, so she started Strut Hair Solutions in 2003.

Now, after almost twenty years in business, Helena has fostered a thriving business and an amazing community of supportive women.

Strut Hair Solutions is more than just a salon—it is a place where women rediscover themselves. Many women come to Strut because they're going through chemotherapy, or are experiencing hair loss due to an underlying medical condition. Many women come into Strut, anxious and unsure about their hair loss and end up walking out looking and feeling like the best version of themselves. For that reason, Helena came up with the tagline: "Walk in, Strut out."

Helena is an integral part in the growth of the business, from being the face of the brand, creating content for all social channels, to weekly coaching sessions with her teams on growth. (She runs a coaching business on the side, where she coaches salon owners to scale their business to 6 and 7 figures).

Helena is still very hands-on in her businesses. From managing team meetings, handling client concerns, to marketing and advertising, she wears a lot of hats. But she wouldn't have it any other way. Her business is her passion, and she's dedicated to making a positive impact her community and to having each client looking and feeling their best.

Helena recently decided that she wanted to make an impact on the hair and beauty industry, and share all of her industry knowledge from the twenty years she'd successfully grown Strut into a 7-figure business. Thus, Helena's coaching business, The 7-Figure Salon Academy, was born.

In all of Helena's business endeavors, she strives to make a positive impact on the outlying community and the hair and beauty industry. She is passionate—giving everything she undertakes 110%, and her magnetic personality has helped foster an amazing community of women we call the "Strut Community."
