As a child, I learned to read quite early, and becoming an author was the first job wanted to have when I grew up. Many nights when it was lights out and time for bed, I secretly read with a flashlight in bed. My vivid imagination for stories combined with life’s experiences only fueled the desire to write as time marched on.
The twists and turns traveling down the path of life can often get in the way of hopes and dreams. Out of necessity I became a single mother and raised my sons completely alone. Writing took a backseat during those years, yet the fire continued to smolder, never burning out. The flame has been re-ignited, and I have found my voice to share my experiences.
