Robin Leigh

I grew up in a small town, Lewisville, North Carolina. I don't remember a time when I didn't love to read and write. As a girl, I began writing poetry because it was elusive and coded. Over the years I found that even my stories became metered and rhythmic as I tried to write them. I eventually gave in and realized this one simple truth... I don't write because I'm good at it. I write because I have to. It's like breathing or sweating. It just happens.
