Derrick L. Randall is a spiritual being who loves God. Derrick is a devoted son, husband, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. In 1999, Derrick enlisted in the U.S. Army. In 2005, as a result of being wounded while in combat (Operation Iraqi Freedom), Derrick was awarded a Purple Heart. In appreciation and consolation for his commitment and honorable service, in 2008, Derrick was honorably retired from the U.S. Army.
In transitioning from the U.S. Army, Derrick proceeded to commit himself to becoming educated and establishing himself in his community with a soul-driven mission to exemplify a positive image. In 2011, Derrick earned an Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts from Hillsborough Community College. He went on to excel at Saint Leo University graduating, in 2013, Magnum Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Derrick continued his educational undertaking at Saint Leo University receiving a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work in May of 2014. Derrick's pursuit in the arena of higher education has not haltered. In September of 2014, he will begin classes for a PH. D in Human Behaviors.
Derrick believes his success is measured within the success of those around him and of those he hopes to impact. He has deep rooted aspirations in solidifying today, so others will be able to sustain tomorrow. Derrick's achievements are impressive, but he feels the blessing is in his story. Anything is Possible with God!
