Brian is married to Hazel. They have two sons and six grandchildren that fill life with interest.
Brian brings his Christian faith to his professional practice. He has spent his career in education in managing schools and in teaching religious education and English in UK secondary schools. He has organised training for teacher education in action research and personal social and moral education in UK and in Europe. He acts on editorial panels of two international educational journals.
Since retiring from schools he has been training teachers through Chiltern Training Group, Luton, UK.
For seven years Brian has assisted scholars with their action research at masters and doctoral level for Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, Oxford, UK.
He coordinates Art Continuers in Dunstable where we employ art and poetry in mission and ministry to local people. Brian spends enjoyable hours with water colour painting.
Writing is another interest, both poetry and academic papers, and blogs on social networks. He has found writing poetry a therapeutic process in recovery from cancer, and more recently a hip replacement.
