Joyce A. Brown

Joyce A. Brown is a motivational speaker and author who uses her creative energy to give voice and meaning to the challenges we face in all walks of life. She grew up in Rockford, Illinois in a household of strong women, but her professional career expanded her horizons into Peoria, Illinois, and Battle Creek, Michigan. Brown is a graduate of Bradley University, where she received her B.S. and M.A. degrees, and a graduate of Western Michigan University where she received her Ph.D.

Joyce writes a bi-monthly article for the online publication: Garden Spices Magazine (www.GardenSpices.org)

Joyce was nominated by Broadview Public Library District in the 2017Soon To Be Famous Illinois Author Project; she was a finalist for her novel, Getting Away With Everything.
