Stacy is the author of many award-winning books for children. Her story, Squirt, was the featured book for the national Screen-Free Week. Her book, Rope 'Em! was a Read Across Oklahoma Book. And her book Toby is taking her all the way to Hawaii to meet sea turtles, which is really cool...just so long as their aren't any sharks. Are there sharks in Hawaii? Stacy holds an MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College (a bona fide shark-free zone).
