Jerry Baltus

Jerry Baltus is a business coach, author, and speaker focused on helping business owners create more profitable entities, more effective teams, and more value in terms of income, wealth and equity now and at time of business exit. His business, Baltus Group, LLC is an independent franchisee of the business coaching franchise, AdviCoach, dedicated to small business success.

Jerry's versatile background includes experience in the fields of Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Management at both the Fortune 500 level and in smaller, family-owned operations. His experience also includes corporate acquisitions, union negotiation, joint ventures, product development, and human resource management.

Jerry's first book, "Final Act of Ownership" grew out of the realization that small business owners have few resources available to help them gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of selling their business. It is a process most owners only get to experience once in their career. And they want to get it right! Although the book focuses on the "Final Act", Jerry's overall work helps business owners create a valuable asset well prior to the actual sale event.

Jerry and his wife, Betsy, live in Plymouth, Wisconsin near their two married children and six grandchildren. He enjoys hunting and fishing and is an avid bicyclist, logging over 2,000 miles annually.
