I'm a write-from-home mom who squeezes in writing around a rambunctious child. Hard work and luck make all the juggling manageable--as long as I guard against accidentally tossing my laptop into the bathtub or trying to delete my daughter. I love to write and will not stop until Death makes me. And after that...I may haunt a computer and keep writing anyway.
I write mostly middle grade and YA novels, but recently branched into short stories. My stories have been published in Bewildering Stories magazine and Youth Imagination magazine. My middle grade novel, The Witch of Zal, was released in 2015 by Evil Jester Press.
In my spare time, I am an avid amateur genealogist, and have published a book about my father's side of the family. And I sleep. Sometimes.
You can find me at my website www.kerrygans.com, and on Facebook, Goodreads, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Aside from The Goose's Quill blog, I write for The Author Chronicles blog.
