Judith B. Shields

Judith B. Shields is a cross-genre filmmaker, screenwriter and author for historical, sci-fi, light fantasy and Young Adult topics. In the fable tradition, her goal is to publish stories with an a moral ending.

Ever since she was five years old she wished to become a filmmaker. Along the way, she also discovered her love of writing. She practiced writing every day. Her friends at school encouraged her and would ask her to read these adventures to them.

Today she thanks God for the experience. Although, life can be challenging, she believes that life bears dreams. To live it to the fullest means to explore what is thought impossible to explore--daring to take that first step.

With an outstanding team, she achieved her lifelong goal of creating a film--Frankenstein's Monster (2013). This award-winning steampunk drama was screened at over 30 film festivals and science fiction conventions.

Twice Reborn: a vampire visual novel was published in 2022 on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS5, XBox and Nintendo Switch.

To those who also have dreams, she advises to:

1) have faith and don't give up!

2) Take advise with a grain of salt and lift it up to your Creator

3) work and develop your talents

4) to be patient, that sometimes dreams take longer to come, but it is worth the wait.
