Siddartha Naidu started his career in data analysis and software engineering as an intern at a startup in 2000. After completing his doctoral thesis in theoretical physics at CMU he returned to software engineering at Google. He worked at Google from 2005-2014 on a number of different projects involving data analysis, modeling and distributed systems. Prior to leaving Google he was the technical lead for BigQuery based in Seattle. He currently works in Chicago for Teza Tech where he continues to try and extract value from data.
