Anouk Filippini

Anouk Filippini was born in Montpellier in 1973, but she is regularly 17, 26, or 90 years old, which sometimes complicates things a little.

She grew up in a joyful, offbeat home, surrounded by books. At her place, everyone writes—it’s a family tradition (or a neurosis).

For her eighth birthday, her father gave her an Olivetti Lettera 22, a mythical typewriter and yet very pleasant to use, which evokes Italy and committed writers.

Anouk Filippini then decided that when she grew up she would be a writer.

As a teenager, she discovered cinema and changed her goal: when she grew up, she would be François Truffaut.

It took her years to become a woman writer and to find her own way of telling stories.

Today, Anouk Filippini writes stories, all kinds of stories: novels for young people and television series. Children and teenagers are her favorite readers because they instinctively understand the symbolic truth of storytelling and always ask wonderful questions.
