Timothy P. McConnell

Tim McConnell is Lead Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. Looking for where the Kingdom of God gains traction, Tim served as a youth pastor, an Army Chaplain, a campus minister, an academic at Oxford and the University of Virginia and finally as a director at a Center for Christian Study before resolving there is no traction for the Kingdom like the faithful preaching of the Word of God before a congregation of believers.

Serving Christ in ordained ministry since 1999, Tim has served churches and ministries in New Jersey, Virginia, Georgia and now Colorado. He has a passion about the transformation that happens when people meet Christ and start to give him the worship he is due. When God is glorified lives are transformed.

Tim is the author of "Illumination in Basil of Caesarea's Doctrine of the Holy Spirit" (Fortress Press, 2014), and "Happy Church: Pursuing Radical Joy as the People of God" (InterVarsity Press Books, 2016).
