Gunnar Dedio

Gunnar Dedio (born 1969 in Rostock, former East-Germany) is a German author and film producer, who loves to look at history through the eyes of individuals of every epoch. He founded the production company LOOKS in 1995 and has been producing documentaries, feature films and series for cinema and television with accompanying books since then. Among his most important productions are "14 - Diaries of the Great War" (US title "The War to end all Wars") and "Michael Kohlhaas" (César 2014), as well as "Life Behind the Wall" (Grimme 2005). Gunnar Dedio teaches at University of Applied Sciences, Mittweida.
