Khurshid Alam

Khurshid Alam, (MA in English literature), has been working as technical writer for more than 15 years. Currently, he works as a team lead in technical documentation department with an IT company based in Pune, Maharashtra (India). He is a professional writer, editor, publisher, and technocrat.

More than 100 poems, several stories and critical essays have been published in various journals and magazines in India and abroad. He has three books, including 'Master RoboHelp in 1 Day', 'Key to Happiness', 'Learn Markdown: The Complete Guide on Markdown Formatting' and 'Investigative Poetry & Other Poems' to his credit until now.

He is one of the finest editors in English in India. He has edited over 1000 research papers, PhD theses, and book manuscripts for as many authors from across the world. He gives trainings on how to prepare research papers to PhD scholars in various colleges and universities. He has been bestowed accolades for his editorial skill by several entities. He is a founding editor of a literary journal titled Contemporary Literary Review India (CLRI).

He runs a book publication known as Leaf Press. Leaf Press publishes books, journals, magazines, anthologies, and textbooks. Leaf Press has published some of the best authors, two of whom—Rajinder Bibra and Captan Zainul Abedin Khan—are Sahitya Akademi awardees. He also runs a media publicity, website to promote authors and books. For which his organization has been nominated among 5000 best MSME Award 2018.

Khurshid has been working in IT for more than 15 years. He writes various kinds of documentation and Help tools for software products. He has been providing training to technical writers for about six years on technical writing and authoring tools including Adobe RoboHelp, Adobe FramMaker, and Markdown. He is an online instructor and has trained about 100 professionals until now.
