Sue Binder was born in Denver, Co. She has been writing since she was a toddler, reporting that she was once punished for scribbling in the back of a book before she learned the alphabet. She holds two Master's, one in Humanities and the other in Counseling. Over the years she has worked as an Avon lady, a distributor of toys, and has taught a variety of classes at the community college. She has also worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, has operated her own counseling agency, and worked for 13 years as a licensed counselor in a prison. Currently she works as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. Ms.Binder is an award-winning poet, but writes in a variety of genres, including romance and short-story fiction. She is also the author of Hands Down, a Domestic Violence manual and its accompanying instructor's manual, both available at Amazon. Her pride and joy are her four children and five grandchildren. She currently resides in Southeast Colorado, the setting for many of her stories.
