Fred Chay, Ph.D. is the Founder and President of Grace Line Ministry.
Dr. Chay is a professor of Theological Studies and Hermeneutics at Grace School of Theology. He is also dean of the Doctor of Ministry program and managing editor of Grace Theology Press, the publishing division of Grace School of Theology. Additionally he has served as an adjunct professor at other academic institutions, teaching Ethics and Theology.
Fred has been speaking, teaching and writing on theological topics concerning motivation and spiritual formation for over 35 years. He spent many years as a pastor and has served as the Western Director of the Christian Medical Association, where he taught and wrote on medical ethics and spiritual formation.
Dr. Chay is a national conference and seminar speaker. He has appeared on Christian television and radio programs. He is the author of "Suffering Successfully," "The Faith That Saves," "The Glorious Grace of God" and "Legalism is Lethal." He is co-author of "Medical Ethics" and "Suicide-A Christian Response." He has also written journal articles and has been the theological editor of other numerous books and publications.
He served as president and executive director of the Free Grace Alliance from 2009 - 2013.
