Dr. Paul W Perkins

For Paul Perkins, writing is a way of bringing order to the noise of life. Throughout the day, information pours across his desk and through televisions, radios, and conversations until thoughts become tangled together. Then he opens his iPad and begins to write. Sometimes the result is worth keeping; sometimes it is deleted. Either way, the process is cathartic. His mind unwinds, the day gives way to imagination, and—just perhaps—something worthwhile finds its way onto the page.

Paul and his wife have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. Through the struggles and blessings of life, he has learned that no journey worth taking is without obstacles. Yet few things have brought him greater joy than watching new generations grow in love, faith, and grace.

Dr. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Science in Bible, a Master of Biblical Education, and a Doctorate in Education. Through both his fiction and nonfiction, he hopes to awaken the imagination, inspire a deeper wonder at God’s creation, and challenge the assumptions that can keep us from discovering the deeper things of God.
