Jim Blyth

The author was born and brought up a long time ago, in one of the small towns surrounding Glasgow, Scotland's largest city.

After studying English literature, psychology and music, he found a job in the electricity industry, and has been wondering why ever since. So has the electricity industry.

Having suffered a terminal outage of power in the workplace, he is now semi-retired, and passes his time writing, worrying about those closest to him, and blowing his whistle at miscreants on the Ness Islands Railway.

He is suffered by his wife, humoured by his children, and organised by his seven-year old grand-daughter.
