Scott McKenzie, a native from Nebraska, has been writing for many years. He wrote and finished his first novel at the age of sixteen and has written a number of others over the course of the years. Writing is not just a profession for Scott. It is a passion and catharses of sorts that he uses as an escape from the everyday world.
Scott, like a number of other writers, has a varied background. His pathway has taken him from many years in the television industry to operations in the nuclear energy industry. Most recently, he was involved in the local food market and is a big proponent of “farm-to-table” and buying local foods whenever possible, as, in his words, “It helps to build and foster community spirit and boost the local economy.”
Scott is an avid exercise enthusiast, and enjoys weightlifting, cycling, aerobics and running. He loves literature, philosophy, history, satire and is an avowed science geek. He is also a culinary trained and self-professed foodie. But his biggest passion, after his lovely wife Jan and dog Missy, has ultimately always been writing.
