Allan B Anderson

If it walks, runs, flies, swims, or slithers, Allan Anderson is a fan. His lifelong love of animals continues to lead him through many walks of life, and contributed to the desire to attain his degree in animal biology and behavior. Paired with a degree in Fine Arts, and the many experiences from working with zoos, farms, and kennels, this potent mix of scientific knowledge and artistic flourish helped create the settings, characters, and themes in many of his works.

Allan lives in Maryland with his family, helping run a small farm. An eagle scout, he has always enjoyed hiking and camping, but also likes computer gaming, model collecting, and painting when the weather isn't so nice. If you were to ever ask him what his favorite animal is, he would simply respond "Canines" because its just too hard for him to decide between dogs, wolves, foxes, and everything in between.
