T.R. Dailey was born and raised in San Diego, California. She attended San Diego State University in 2005 where she studied an amalgamation of topics including English, Fine Art, and Psychology. In 2007 she transferred to The Art Institute of California, San Diego, and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation. She spent a year working as a Character Animator and a Stereoscopic Production Artist until a mass layoff changed everything.
In only three years she and her boyfriend had moved their entire home, along with two dogs, two cats, and forty reptiles from San Diego to Los Angeles then again to Louisiana (where her boyfriend became her fiancé) and finally to New Jersey in order to follow her fiancé's visual effects career. Finding it difficult to attain her own jobs while moving so often, T.R. Dailey found solace in her writing. In 2014 she published a collection of poetry about the tribulations of becoming, learning, and living as a young adult titled "Another Lid to a Potless Existence: Collected Poetry 2006 - 2012". She is currently preparing her debut novel, a young adult psychological suspense/adventure fantasy about entrapment inside the world of dreams.
