If the author is asked to describe himself, the first word that comes to mind is blessed. He is blessed to know and serve a God who is gracious and loving.

He is blessed with a wife who is loving and kind and inspires him to be a better person each day. He is blessed with a daughter and son who are wonderful young adults and are a source of great pride. He is blessed with two grandchildren who bring him great joy. He is also blessed with a wonderful family and group of friends.

His life work is very important to him. Preparing for the variety of professional roles he has played led him to complete a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management, a Masters in Religious Education, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational and Counseling Psychology.

Service is the focus of his life work and he has served as minister, counselor, trainer, professor, and consultant with great organizations. In addition, he has also served churches as a teacher and elder and his community by providing assistance to numerous non-profit organizations and conducting over 40 community leadership retreats. He has also been blessed to meet people from all over the world as he has done training and consulting in 18 countries.

He is inspired by people and groups doing great things and this is what led him to write this book about an incredible person.
