Barbara Blanks

Barbara Blanks is Recording Secretary for Poetry Society of Texas, as well as its librarian, assistant treasurer, administrator of the Facebook page, mailer of book prizes, and assorted other things that crop up. She is also the former webmaster of PST, and former president/editor of A Galaxy of Verse. She has been published in Ilya’s Honey, Writers’ Digest 5th Poetry Awards Collection, Reader’s Digest-rd.com, Writers Journal, ByLine Magazine, Forces Literary Journal, The Earth Still Turns, A Texas Garden of Verses, NFSPS Encore, and several state anthologies, including PST’s A Book of the Year. She is also the author of nine books and co-author of one.

Barb is known for her exuberant love of life, the liberties she often takes with her reality, and her pursuit of a sense of direction. She is also admired for her stick-to-it-iveness, although she mostly sticks to her unmopped kitchen floor.
