Rosa West

Dr. Rosa West was born in Weisbaden, Germany to Walter & Alice West; and is the youngest of two siblings. As a native of Florida, she received a Doctoral Degree from the University of Florida in Counselor Education and Supervision, specializing in Marriage & Family Therapy. She also holds a Master's in Business Administration, specializing in Healthcare Administration. Dr. West has a passion for family harmony/unity and has developed clinical expertise in Family Systems work. Supported by a loving husband Nathaniel Gates, she is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida. Dr. West is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Florida and, having worked in the field for over 10 years, has expertise in family/couples therapy, co-occurring disorder treatment, specialized services for women & minorities, and utilization of process improvement methods.
