Félix Lévy was born on 27 December 1943 in Agadir, Morocco, which he left in 1963 to pursue his studies first in Bordeaux and then in Paris. An engineer by training, he practised his profession for many years before coming to writing late in life with a first novel in 2005 (La Chaise Rouge), very quickly followed by a collection of poems (A l'Amour qui dure) published by Editions La Bruyère. Tackling all literary genres, Félix Lévy then published with Editions Publibook several novels (Le Prince des Etoiles, Chants et Désenchants, Comme un petit caillou dans la chaussure du pèlerin, Ainsi parlaient nos murs), two plays (Clara, Clara and Eugénia), and an account of the Agadir earthquake that he personally experienced in 1960 (Les Ombres d'une Nuit). His latest novel (Hector), published by Editions Nombre7, is a good example of his characteristic style, which harmoniously combines poetry, dialogue and narration.
