Hi, I was born in Wiltshire, England in 1978 and I can't remember a time when I wasn't imaginative and creative. I've always loved reading and writing and it's a family trait to adore history and royalty so add them all together and that's me sorted!

My royal history books and historical biographies are short enough that you don't need to read for days to get to the important information. I write accessible and interesting books which you don't need to be a 100% history lover to enjoy, although it helps.

My quiz books focus on history, royalty, events, politicians, inventions and literature.

I don't mind if you read a printed book or use a screen, stand on one leg or read upside down...just lose yourself in a super book for a while. Escape this crazy world.
