Gina Lea

Gina Lea grew up sharing time between Southwest Ohio and the deep south. She began writing and illustrating stores as a child hoping to create the next great comic strip one day. Having fallen in love with the Carolinas at a young age, she found it a natural setting for her books. Gina draws on her experiences living in a small town and working in the coffee industry for inspiration for her stories. Today Gina Lea lives in North Carolina, not far from where the fictional town of Destinybay might be, with her best critics: her hubby and Zuzu the Wonder Dog.
