"Now I Know" is my first novel. Ever since I was a child, I have always loved to write. I would beg my mother to buy thank you notes for me to write for gifts. English Composition classes were always my favorite in high school and in college. When assigned an essay or theme paper to write, while my classmates moaned I would shout to myself a silent, "Yes!"
My motivation to start writing my novel was provided by two academy award winners. One said in his acceptance speech, "God bless narrative." Another challenged the viewers to do something creative - paint a picture, write a poem, learn to play a musical instrument, etc. After that night, I got out my pen and paper and began to handwrite "Now I Know."
I graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. I loved college, and I am still an avid supporter of my alma mater. I live in Kansas City, Missouri on the beautiful Country Club Plaza.
