With over 20 years in cybersecurity, I’ve had the privilege of working across financial services, fintech, and enterprise software, leading initiatives in security architecture, application security, and product security. Currently, I serve as Field CISO at Avocado Systems Inc., where I focus on helping organizations strengthen resilience through threat modeling and secure-by-design practices.

Alongside my industry roles, I’ve built a career as an author and contributor, writing books, white papers, and open-source guidance, all dedicated to advancing how we design and protect modern applications. My most recent work, Blockchain Application Security: How to Design Secure and Attack Resilient Blockchain Applications (Wiley), reflects this mission: bringing practical, research-driven insights to developers, architects, and security professionals worldwide.
