I was born in Peterborough Maternity unit, several weeks premature and the weight of a bag of sugar. Despite being in intensive care, my nurses told my parents that my bad temper kept me alive. Clearly this continued to hold true for the rest of my life. Not saying I'm a grump but I don't really have zen levels of calm. I've worked as shop assistant, a butchers assistant and am now stuck in the admin ghetto of the UK civil service.

I've always loved to create stories. As I hit my teens, I channeled a healthy disdain for the norm and went into roleplaying. Yep I play D&D, but so does Vin Diesel and no one says that he's sad. Playing and running games with my friends inspires me and I started my first book several years ago from one simple idea.

What about a supernatural romance that doesn't star a bland High schooler from the 21st century? Well several years, a lot of writer's block and heartache later and I give you my first novel, The Black Lotus. There will be more and hopefully they won't take as long as the first one.
