Paolo Danese

Paolo Danese is a dark epic fantasy author and creator of the Portal Wars Saga.

A former journalist and editor, he brings a sharp eye for power, empire, and moral consequence to his fiction. Now based in Singapore with his wife and two kids, Paolo is obsessed with long-form saga world-building, fallen gods, and the cost of vengeance.

His stories explore what remains when sacrifice is demanded—and whether anything survives it.
