Barry E J Smith

I began my art career in London where I now live. I was born at Sydney, Australia and schooled in Melbourne and at the University of Melbourne.

I participated in group exhibitions in London and had one-man exhibitions in the USA (Texas & California), Europe (Sweden & France) and Australia. Prizes I won included the inaugural Tia Maria Art Award for watercolour and drawing, one for a Royal Academy Christmas card, two Greater London Art Awards and a finalists' award for the inaugural Hunting Prize.

My 14 books for children have been published in the UK, USA and in Europe under the name Barry Smith can be found somewhere on the Amazon.com website.

My other projects have included a range of cards, prints, ceramic design and illustration for Wade Ceramics (the well known Ennglish Life range of teapots and other ceramic ware), Art Marketing, Royle Publications, Camden Graphics and others.
