Lance Carney

Lance Carney is a 40-year veteran hospital pharmacist turned award-winning mystery author. He is the creator of the Oak Island mystery series, known for its eccentric characters, medical puzzles, and laugh-out-loud humor. His debut novel, Ripped Tide, won the 2017 McGrath House Indie Book Award for Humor.

He lives in West Virginia with his wife, Kathy. When he isn't writing or keeping up with his adult children and young grandchildren, he escapes to Oak Island, North Carolina, whenever "The Man" isn't keeping him down.
