Dr. Emily Plachy is an IBM Distinguished Engineer in Business Analytics Transformation and leads IBM's increased use of big data and analytics. A member of SWE, WITI and INFORMS and a past President of the IBM Academy of Technology, she has integrated data analysis into her work throughout her career.
