Over her 30-year career, Dr. Jill Engel-Cox has been an engineer, researcher, program manager, and strategic planner of a diverse suite of clean technology, renewable energy, and environmental management programs in the U.S., Asia, and Middle East. Her first job was climbing smokestacks in Los Angeles, followed by leading pollution prevention assessments and programs for small and medium sized businesses and R&D laboratories in Colorado, Washington, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and internationally. She has facilitated science-based environmental outreach and developed and taught university courses and interactive multi-day workshops. She is author of over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications on technical and policy topics and has co-published two books.
