Wannababies considers life in the womb and what the abortion debate might be like from the perspective of the unborn. The purpose of this collection of pro-life panels is to share the proposition that "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" rings hollow without first securing the opportunity to life. Every person's existence began as a unique individual, when mother and father created a new individual human being "at conception", but everybody has heard the "birds & the Bees" stories! Wannababies seeks to apply humorous or thought-provoking ideas in consideration of choosing life.

The initial concept of Wannababies began as a promotion for the American Heritage activities at McClellan Air Force Base, California. When I created my "heritage baby" cartoons for promoting American Heritage activities at the base, the cartoons were not received well. Although ultimately not used for the American Heritage events, I decided that I would do "something" with my babies in the future. Shortly thereafter in January 1992, I was involved in a highway head-on collision that nearly took me to see our Lord a bit sooner than expected. I took this event as a reminder to do something with my "babies." The "something" was to return the babies to the womb and offer the opportunity for greater discussion on behalf of life. Life - enjoy it.
